The beginnings of Sonos involve many complicated details, but the short version of the story is that the six of us met through school & various singing connections in LA, & then connected with our creative/business partner & friend, Hugo Vereker. Chris knew Rache, Jess knew Kathy, and former group member Paul Peglar introduced us to Ben. We’re all pretty different types of singers, and studied very different facets of music & performance in school: Chris studied composition & music education (UCLA), Jess studied jazz performance (UCLA), Kathy studied jazz performance & jazz composition (Berklee College of Music/UCLA), Rache studied opera (USC), and Ben studied opera & acting (UC Irvine). Hopefully those different musical colors & influences come through in our music 🙂
